Maritime Consulting Associates personnel have been involved with the Oil and Gas industry since 1967 - starting at the birthplace of North Sea exploration, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

The present company was formed in 1981 by experienced Mariners, Engineers and other Professional Associates offering the industry an 'Independent Marine Surveying and Consultancy Service' designed to respond quickly and efficiently to a world-wide, round-the-clock demand.

We pride ourselves in being approved Surveyors and/or Consultants to virtually all the major oil companies operating on and from the European Continental Shelf.

On a non-exclusive basis we represent some of the Europe's largest marine insurance and underwriting organisations, P&I Clubs and warranty houses.

We are government-approved MARPOL Surveyors and are duly licensed to inspect vessels carrying noxious liquid cargoes on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency
