We offer a modular service. You can buy our services by the hour, by the day, or by the project. You can purchase just a single place on a training course through to having a bespoke training course on your premises. We do not charge a retainer and are transparent in our costs- no hidden nasties

Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
- £85 + VAT This course is approved by HSE and accredited with CIEH
Aim: To provide basic emergency first aid.
Who: Anyone designated as workplace emergency first aider, or appointed person.
What: Assessing situations, ABC, bleeding, burns, broken bones and eye
injuries.
How: One day training, mostly practical.
Level 2 Award in Food Safety; ( basic food hygiene/ foundation certifcate ) on demand but also through BCTS business@broadland.gov.uk . Essential course for all food handlers. Develop a firm grasp of the importance of Food Safety and knowledge of systems, techniques and procedures involved. Understand how to control Food Safety Risks (Personal Hygiene, Food Storage, cooking & Handling). Gain confidence and expertise to safely deliver quality food to customers. All refreshments, course booklet and examination fees included.
We also offer the CIEH Level 2 Refresher for those with a valid certificate
Training Skills & Practice ( the old PTC)- 3 day course Stops the Fear and improves Presentations - learn in a safe environment. The qualification provides an opportunity to understand and practice a professional approach to training design and delivery, with a structured syllabus and assessment opportunity. Makes your presentaions hit the right buttons - stops the panic - improves the skill. This course is not just for those people interested in delivering Food and Health and Safety courses - it is ideal for anyone who needs to get their point across in an effective manor. Taking place in the fabulous surroundings of the The Town Close Room at the Theatre Royal. (Also running a 2 day PTLLS conversion course available)

Level 2 Award; Manual Handling Principles & Practice- the only course in East Anglia!
Aim: To allow learners to understand the Risk associated with Manual Handling and to allow the application of these principles to everyday manual handling tasks.
Who: Any employee.
What: How manual handling can cause injury and harm, the process for assessing risk, the value of risk assessment and Manual Handling Techniqueslifting from low levels, working at low levels, lowering from height, pushing & pulling loads, carrying and team handling.

Level 4 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace- ideal course for any one with Health and Safety responsibility.- better than IOSH Managing Safely- as it has QCA framework
Aim: To help managers to manage health and safety in more complex businesses.
Who: Owner / managers, supervisors and safety representatives of larger, more complex businesses.
What: We underpin and risk assess the major health and safety hazards, establishing and monitoring controls; staff training; accidents & investigation, the management cycle, health and safety culture and a little law.
How: Five days training. Each hazard/section revolves around a syndicate case study and past paper questions. Assessment; exam on a 6th day, plus 2 workplace based assignments.

Foundation / Basic Level Food Hygiene (now called the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering) - next course dates are being run in conjunction with Broadland District Council : This is the 'must have' course for all food handlers. It will enable delegates to take personal responsibility for food safety procedures, keep themselves clean and hygenic, receive and store food safely and prepare, cook and hold food safely. Many more subjects covered including legislation etc.

Advanced Level Food Hygeine - Level 4 Managing Food Safety in Catering or Manufacture- next course dates see website. Ideal for chefs and owners. A central Haccp theme runs through the 12 modules. This course, together with the Professional Trainer's Certificate can be used to deliver Foundation Level / Basic training to staff. It also satifisfies the need to have mangers trained. this course is being held in the Town Close Room at the Theatre Royal. .
Intermediate Food Hygiene - Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering or Manufacturing. We have a series of 3 Day Courses running
